Renton police arrest man accused of threatening to kill officers

The suspect had multiple felony warrants out for his arrest, police say.

RENTON, Wash — A man who Renton police say has threatened to kill officers and their families has been arrested.

Renton police put out a social media post on Jan. 29 asking if people knew the 20-year-old suspect, who had multiple warrants out, including assault and unlawful firearm possession.

The man was arrested on Feb. 18 after officers got a tip he was staying at a residence in Burien. 

Body camera video shows police enter the home and find the suspect hiding in a closet.
