Jesse Kitson’s gun fell off a table and went off, killing his 1-year-old daughter.
GRANITE FALLS, Wash. — A Granite Falls couple who pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges after a gun accidentally discharged and killed their 1-year-old daughter in 2021 were sentenced in January.
Jesse Kitson, 34, and Arabella Watts, 26, each plead guilty to second-degree manslaughter with a firearm in late 2024. Kitson also plead guilty to first-degree unsafe storage of a firearm. Kitson was sentenced to five years and 10 months and 18 months of community custody, while Watts was sentenced to same amount of time in prison as Kitson.
