Edmonds police cracking down on ‘drug culture’ at local motel after series of incidents

Police have made three arrests and seized several drugs and multiple guns since December at the same motel on Highway 99.

EDMONDS, Wash. — After a series of drug-related incidents, including the “near overdose death” of a child, Edmonds police have put extra resources into cracking down on suspected drug trafficking at a motel on Highway 99.

The most recent incident occurred on Feb. 6 when officers executed a search warrant at the St. Frances Motel. 

It was described as a “continuing narcotics investigation,” and led to the arrests of a 42-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.
