Jalen Hurts Named Super Bowl M.V.P.

With an efficient three-touchdown effort, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts earned the Most Valuable Player award of Super Bowl LIX on Sunday following a 40-22 win over the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Hurts finished the contest 17 of 22 for 221 yards, two touchdown passes and one interception — plus 11 carries for 72 yards and another score on the ground — on his way to claiming his first MVP award and helping Philadelphia play spoiler against a Kansas City team seeking the first three-peat in Super Bowl history.
