SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — One of the most famous golf scenes ever got a classic re-enactment on Saturday morning at the WM Phoenix Open.
Actor Christopher McDonald, who not only played in Wednesday’s Pro-Am at TPC Scottsdale but also depicted Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore, decided to have some fun with fans on Saturday morning. While sprinting away from the incoming crowd, Gilmore tried to put on a Gold Jacket, evoking one of the closing scenes from the 1996 classic. In the original film, Happy Gilmore holed a ridiculous shot at the end and won the tournament, and thus the Gold Jacket, but McGavin was so incensed by Gilmore that
