GIG HARBOR, Wash. — All three members of the Gig Harbor High School girls’ basketball team were put on administrative leave last week.
According to a press release from the Peninsula School District, administrators said they made the “hard decision” on Jan. 27 after receiving a complaint about the coaches. They were placed on leave effective immediately.
No information about the nature of the complaint has been released.
An internal investigation is ongoing while the three staff members are on leave.
