All lanes of southbound I-405 open over Interstate 90 after full closure due to collisions

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Interstate 405 southbound fully reopened over Interstate 90 in Bellevue after a full closure due to road conditions and multiple collisions Tuesday morning, per Washington State Patrol (WSP) and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

WSP’s Rick Johnson first shared information about the full closure at 7:35 a.m., saying drivers should expect “long delays through the area.” WSDOT shared at 7:50 a.m. that the right lane was opened but that the left and HOV lanes are still blocked. Traffic delays still should be expected, WSDOT says.

At 8:43 a.m., WSDOT said all lanes were reopened as most of the roadway had been cleared.
