On this week’s episode of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart took aim at President Donald Trump‘s trade tariffs and his plans to take over Panama and Greenland.
Stewart opened the segment with a compilation of news clips detailing a “new trade war” that could emerge from Trump’s tariffs on the EU, Canada and Mexico.
“The EU? Canada? Do we have any friends? I mean, Mexico, I get. Trump’s been hate-fucking Mexico pretty much since the escalator,” Stewart said, referencing Trump’s famous ride down the Trump Tower escalator before announcing his presidential candidacy in 2015. “But Canada?
