SEATTLE — The family of Amarr Murphy-Paine is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect who shot and killed him last June.
Murphy-Paine was shot and killed outside Garfield High School in June of 2024 while trying to break up a fight.
His family said the investigation has stalled because of a Washington law that prevents law enforcement from speaking to suspects under the age of 18 without a lawyer present.
