One person confirmed dead after car on fire drives into King County lake

The person who was inside the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

SEATAC, Wash. — One person is dead after a car that was on fire drove into a lake in King County Thursday afternoon. 

According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, reports came in at around 2:45 p.m. saying a car on fire drove into SeaTac’s Angle Lake. According to KCSO deputies, there was one person inside the car at the time and they died at the scene. The official cause of death has not yet been determined.

According to Puget Sound Fire, the car was found in approximately 12 feet
