The U.S. Embassy & Consulate has issued an urgent warning regarding escalating violence in Tamaulipas, specifically around the areas of Reynosa, Rio Bravo, Valle Hermoso, and San Fernando.
According to the consulate, there has been an increase in gun battles during the late night and early morning hours in Reynosa, as well as a growing threat from improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the region.
