Seattle Humane has taken in dozens of animals from the Los Angeles area since the fires began.
SEATTLE — Seattle Humane has taken in another group of over 40 pets from Los Angeles area shelters as the region continues to deal with the fallout from a series of wildfires.
In a post-Monday evening, Seattle Humane said it took in 32 dogs and 12 cats from Paws For Life K9 Rescue and Rory To The Rescue on Sunday. The organization said it used Monday to get all the animals checked in and prepped for adoption.
