Brian Niccol began his tenure at Starbucks on Sept. 9, 2024.
SEATTLE — Despite officially starting his tenure at Starbucks in September, the company’s new CEO earned nearly $100 million in total compensation in his first four months.
Per Starbucks’ 2024 annual investor report, Niccol’s total compensation was $95.8 million. Almost all of that compensation was tied to stock awards, as Niccol earned just $61,538 in salary and received a $5 million sign-on bonus. Niccol’s total stock awards were worth $90,291,772, according to the filing.
