Prosecutors question former Sumner High basketball coach charged with sex crimes

Former Sumner High School boys basketball coach Jacob Jackson is facing 20 charges, including child rape, molestation and sexual exploitation of a minor.

TACOMA, Wash. — A former coach accused of sex crimes against his players was back in court Wednesday.

Prosecutors had the opportunity to question former Sumner High School boys’ basketball coach Jacob Jackson. His defense team had the opportunity to make its case over the past two days.

KING 5 was the only television crew in the courtroom on Tuesday and Wednesday to hear Jackson’s testimony.

Jackson is facing 20 charges, including child rape, molestation and sexual exploitation of a minor.
