Police are still investigating what led up to the woman’s death.
RENTON, Wash. — A man is in custody after allegedly killing his mother in Renton, police said.
Just after 2 a.m. Tuesday morning, police were called to a location on Williams Avenue South. The 911 caller reported that his mother was dead.
Police arrived and found a 62-year-old woman who was confirmed to be dead. Officers at the scene developed probable cause and arrested the son, a 34-year-old man, for a suspected homicide.
The investigation into what led up to the woman’s death remains under investigation.
