Jared Goff injury update: Teddy Bridgewater in after Goff takes hit to head against Commanders

The Detroit Lions are fighting for their playoff lives, trailing the Washington Commanders in the second quarter of Saturday night’s NFC DIvisional Round Game.

And Teddy Bridgewater — who just weeks ago was guiding the high school team he coaches to a state championship — is in the game for Jared Goff.

Goff was taken to the blue medical tent after taking a brutal hit on a Commanders’ Pick Six midway through the second quarter. Goff was blocked hard by Washington linebacker Frankie Luvu at the end of the return, and replays showed contact to Goff’s head and chin:
