AUBURN, Wash. — An Amtrak train collided with a semi that reportedly made a wrong turn in Auburn Saturday morning, according to the Auburn Police Department.
Police said the collision happened around 10:18 a.m. when the truck made the wrong turn and got stuck on the tracks at 29th B NW. The Amtrak train heading south struck the semi.
The driver and occupant of the semi were able to exit the vehicle safely, police said.
