As one man struggles to imagine the future, another Washingtonian shares how he’s managed to persevere after his tragic loss in a 2020 wildfire.
RENTON, Wash. — A Navy veteran from Washington, who recently moved to Southern California, found out this weekend that his home is a complete loss in the Palisades Fire.
The University of Puget Sound graduate, Branden Anderson de la Looza, said as the initial shock begins to wear off, it’s hard to imagine where his life goes from here. He loved his community of Pacific Palisades dearly.
