LOS ANGELES — Thousands of firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the wildfires burning in southern California. That includes hundreds of firefighters from Washington state, including crews from Snohomish County which finished a 34-hour shift over the weekend.
“What’s lost is lost,” Scott Coulson said. “But we can still make a good impact on the citizens of the Los Angeles area of what we have left to protect.”
And there’s still plenty to fight for, despite this massive destruction in the Los Angeles area.
“It’s a tough job but we all signed up willingly to do this,” Coulson said.
