Los Cabos Anticipates 90% Hotel Occupancy During Holiday Season

As 2024 comes to an end, Los Cabos is preparing to welcome an estimated 3.9 million air travelers, representing an increase of 100,000 visitors compared to 2023. This surge in tourism underscores the destination’s growing appeal and resilience despite earlier modest projections.

Rodrigo Esponda Cascajares, director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust (Fiturca), highlighted a strong recovery in the latter part of the year. October saw a 2.8% rise in arrivals, November recorded a 4.5% increase, and December is expected to achieve growth of around 5%. Looking ahead to 2025, a further 2% to 3% boost in air connectivity is anticipated, particularly through expanded markets within the United States.
