Series of storms to bring lowland rain, mountain snow | Christmas forecast

Back-to-back storms will continue to parade across the region Monday evening through Christmas.

SEATTLE — It’s going to be a wet Christmas week for much of western Washington.

Back-to-back storms continue to parade across the region Monday evening through Christmas on Wednesday, with more into the end of the week for post-Christmas travel as well.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said there will be a series of systems likely bringing lowland rain, wind and mountain snow this week.
