The Kieke family lost everything in the blaze, but still have each other.
LANGLEY, Wash. — Mike Kieke looked over the ruins of his life after the Langley home he raised his family in was destroyed by fire, just days before Christmas.
“It’s devastation. Just memories that are gone,” he said.
Fortunately, there are more memories to be made thanks to a set of circumstances the family is still trying to fully comprehend.
“You just can’t help thinking, what if,” said Mike.
