A woman in her 80s was killed in the fire, according to authorities.
LYNNWOOD, Wash. — One person is dead and another suffered smoke inhalation after a house went up in flames in Lynnwood Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters from South County Fire responded to a residence in the 17900 block of 33rd Pl. W. after receiving reports of flames coming from the home around noon. Upon arrival, crews found the house fully engulfed in fire.
A man in his 90s was evaluated for smoke inhalation but did not go to the hospital. A woman in her 80s was found dead at the scene.
