SEATTLE — A crash involving at least four cars blocked all westbound traffic along state Route 520 near Montlake Boulevard in Seattle. All traffic lanes reopened around 9:30 p.m.
The collision occurred in the westbound lanes around 6:30 p.m. Friday night. The Washington State Department of Transportation urged drivers to have patience as traffic backups clear.
Two people were extricated from involved vehicles and taken to nearby hospitals. One person, a 42-year-old man, is in serious condition, and an adult woman is in stable condition.
