LYNNWOOD, Wash. — On Dec. 7, Kerry O’Connor visited the homeless camp where her sister-in-law died during last month’s bomb cyclone. O’Connor said she did so because she had to.
“It made it super real,” O’Connor said.
A 175-foot tree snapped in the woods off Alderwood Mall Parkway in Lynnwood killing 64-year-old Debbie O’Connor and severely injuring her 38-year-old son, Brian, on Nov. 19.
The pair had moved to that camp thinking they would be safer because of fewer trees.
