Timothée Chalamet will receive the Chairman’s Award for his performance in Searchlight Pictures’ “A Complete Unknown” at the Palm Springs International Film Awards. The ceremony will take place on Jan. 3 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The festival will run from Jan. 2 through 14, and opens with “Better Man,” with “The Penguin Lessons” as closing film.
Chalamet has been recognized at the festival before. In 2018, he received the Rising Star Award for “Call Me By Your Name,” and the following year, he received the Spotlight Award for “Beautiful Boy.” This year, his portrayal of
