Crystal Mountain staff said that they have as much natural snow now as they did in January, thanks to early November snowfall.
ENUMCLAW, Wash — Skiers and snowboarders headed to Crystal Mountain on Friday for opening day of ski season. Friday was for passholders only, while the general public will be allowed starting Saturday.
The resort opened nine days earlier than the last ski season due to early November snowfall. The resort already has 2 feet of natural snow at the base and around 40 inches of natural snow on the upper mountain.
