A 40-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting.
SEATTLE — Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the University District that left one man dead late Saturday night.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., Seattle Police received multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting in the 4500 block of Brooklyn Avenue NE.
Officers arrived on the scene to find a 31-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest. Seattle Fire Department paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with the incident.
