The National Weather Service (NWS) in Seattle is currently predicting that snow flurries will begin Wednesday afternoon and evening for areas in Snohomish County followed by a more significant lowland snow event Thursday and Friday. A winter storm watch has been put in effect.
“Wednesday will likely be the last quiet day before a series of weather systems impact the area to bring the potential for lowland snow to the area,” wrote NWS in their Wednesday morning briefing. “Brief snow flurries may impact areas north of Seattle this afternoon.”
