No suspects in custody after string of armed robberies in south Seattle

Police found an abandoned vehicle they later learned was stolen.

SEATTLE — Police are searching for a group of people suspected of a string of armed robberies in south Seattle that occurred early Friday morning.

The suspects wore face masks and robbed convenience stores and gas stations around Georgetown, Rainier Valley, High Point and West Seattle neighborhoods, according to Seattle police. During each robbery, they displayed weapons and, in some incidents, demanded money.

No injuries were reported during the robberies, which also involved stolen merchandise.
