The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has announced its winter programming, featuring a range of new film series, screenings, public events and educational programs. Highlights include an onstage conversation with singer-songwriter Diane Warren, followed by a screening of “Armageddon,” and a live performance by Warren herself. The schedule also includes a 10th-anniversary screening of “Selma,” with special appearances by director Ava DuVernay, lead actor David Oyelowo and other key cast members.
Additional exhibits include Present Past: A Celebration of Film, showcasing preserved and restored works from the Academy Film Archive and beyond. Scheduled screenings for this series are “Who Killed Vincent Chin?” on Dec. 4, “The Cardinal” on Dec.
