Incumbent Maria Cantwell faces challenger Dr. Raul Garcia in her bid to serve a fifth term in the Senate.
OLYMPIA, Wash. — Sen. Maria Cantwell is projected to continue serving in the US Senate after receiving nearly 60% of the vote following an initial round of ballot returns Nov. 5.
Republican challenger Raul Garcia trails Cantwell with 40% of the vote.
Counties will release additional results in the days after the election as more ballots are counted. Additional results are typically released daily.
