According to Washington State Patrol, one pedestrian was hit and killed on state Route 99 at 164th Street Southwest.
LYNNWOOD, Wash. — One person was hit and killed by a car on state Route 99 in Lynnwood Wednesday evening.
All southbound lanes are blocked at 164th Street Southwest while officials investigate. Traffic is alternating using northbound lanes.
According to the Washington State Patrol, two people were hit. One person was killed and the other was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
This will be an extended closure, according to WSP. Drivers are urged to expect delays and use alternate routes.
