TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma’s deputy police chief is on paid administrative leave pending the results of an investigation into allegations made against him.
Detective William Muse, a public information officer for the Tacoma Police Department, confirmed that Deputy Chief Paul Junger is on leave.
“It is the policy of the City of Tacoma to encourage its employees to report any allegations of improper actions by City officers or employees,” a statement to KING 5 reads. “However, because this is a personnel issue, what the city can release to the public is limited.”
