Arrest made in pregnant Auburn woman’s disappearance, police believe more people are involved

Jackelin Perez, a 21-year-old woman who is pregnant, is still missing.

AUBURN, Wash. — One person has been arrested in connection to the disappearance of a pregnant Auburn woman. Police believe more people may be involved.

According to the Auburn Police Department, 21-year-old Jackelin Perez went missing on the evening of Oct. 13. She recently moved to Auburn from Guatemala with her husband, speaks limited English and is six weeks pregnant. Authorities say she was “taken from her home under duress,” and they do not believe this to be a random incident.
