There will be several roadways between Snohomish and Pierce counties closed this weekend.
SEATTLE — Drivers should prepare for more highway closures and lane reductions this weekend.
The Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said travelers on Interstate 5 in Seattle and between Federal Way and Tacoma, state Route 99 in Seattle, state Route 520 across Lake Washington, US 2 in Snohomish, and Interstate 405 in Bothell should prepare to encounter delays Friday through Monday.
Most roadwork will happen at night and lane reductions will be in place to help travelers planning trips during daytime hours, according to WSDOT.
