Dog helps deputy save owner in Stevens County

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — A dog helped a deputy save their owner in Stevens County last week.

According to the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was patrolling a wooded area in Stevens County when he saw a 13-year-old dog named Gita sitting in the road.

The sheriff’s office said the deputy tried to get Gita inside his car so they could try and find the owner, but Gita wouldn’t go inside.
