Kent carjacking victim did not identify arrested teen as person who stole his car

Due to the negative identification, the court only found probable cause for a charge of driving with no valid license, the King County Prosecutor’s Office said.

KENT, Wash. — The teen arrested in connection to a carjacking and school lockdown may not be the correct suspect. 

The King County Prosecutor’s Office said the victim of the carjacking did not identify the teen who had been arrested as the person involved in the carjacking. The victim said the person involved was wearing different clothes and an earring. 

This comes after a carjacking on Thursday, Sept. 5 that lead to the lockdown of Kentridge High School.
