Suspected DUI driver arrested after pursuit in Clallam County

The 40-year-old suspect’s passenger tossed meth and drug paraphernalia out the window during the pursuit, Clallam County deputies say.

CLALLAM COUNTY, Wash. — A suspected DUI driver was arrested after a high-speed pursuit in Clallam County, during which meth was tossed out of the suspect’s vehicle.

A Clallam County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on Old Olympic Highway near Barr Road on Sept. 6 around 10 p.m., per a release. The driver was seen struggling to remain in their lane, and the deputy suspected DUI.
