Travis Hunter didn’t waste any time to make his case as the best player in college football. The Colorado junior put on a show in the season opener against North Dakota State, flexing his game-breaking talent as both a wide receiver and cornerback. It’s hard to imagine a more impressive Week 1 performance for the two-way threat.
As a wide receiver, Hunter caught three touchdown passes from QB Shedeur Sanders. His third touchdown was art. On third-and-goal, Sanders found Hunter on a fade route, and he somehow caught the ball and stuck the landing despite being absolutely blanketed by the defensive back.
