Traveling through SEA Airport or by ferry this Labor Day weekend? Here’s what you need to know

Passengers are still being advised not to check bags at SEA Airport, and ferry travelers should be prepared for potential delays.

SEATTLE — If you’re traveling by air or by sea this weekend, there are a few things you should know before you head out for Labor Day travel. 

Labor Day is one of the busiest travel weekends of the year for the Washington State Ferries (WSF) system. WSF advised travelers that 300,000-plus people are expected to board ferries between Thursday, Aug. 29 and Monday Sept. 2.
