Video shows nose wheel wobbling as Alaska Airlines flight makes emergency landing at PDX

The flight from Seattle to Redmond, Oregon, had to divert to Portland due to a problem with a hydraulic system.

PORTLAND, Ore. — A flight from Seattle to Redmond, Oregon, had to be diverted to the Portland International Airport (PDX) for an emergency landing on Monday. After the plane suffered what Alaska Airlines referred to in a statement as “an issue involving the hydraulic system that controls various systems on the aircraft, including control of the nose wheel steering.”
