No charges filed against parent of 1-year-old who died in hot car in Puyallup

Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney Mary Robnett wrote that as she reviewed the case, she does “not have any doubt that the baby was unknowingly left in the car.”

PUYALLUP, Wash — Charges will not be filed against a mother who left her 1-year-old child in a hot car outside Puyallup’s MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, resulting in the child’s death in May of 2023.
