The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department was responding to a domestic violence incident before the shooting.
BUCKLEY, Wash. — A suspect was shot and killed by Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies who were responding to a domestic violence incident in Buckley, according to the Pierce County Force Investigation Team (PCFIT).
Deputies responded to a domestic violence call on the 7500 block of 242nd Avenue Court East in Buckley at around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. The woman who placed the call was able to exit the home.
