17-year-old injured in drive-by shooting in Everett

Two people fled the scene after the shooting. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

EVERETT, Wash. — A 17-year-old boy was shot in a drive-by shooting on Saturday afternoon, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting occurred in the 600 block of 124th Street Southwest in Everett.

The teenager was transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds, the sheriff’s office said. Officials did not immediately provide information on the extent of his injuries. 

Two people, both males, were seen leaving the area after the shooting in an unknown vehicle. Sheriff’s deputies are investigating.
