SEATTLE — One of the top executives in the Mariners organization has announced she will be resigning from her role with the team.
Catie Griggs, the president of business operations for the club, is leaving Seattle to accept a new job closer to her family on the East Coast, the team announced in a release Friday. Mariners owner John Stanton will take over her responsibilities on an interim basis after she departs later this month while the team searches for a replacement.
