In a post, the city of Oak Harbor said all six of the injuries were minor and the victims are being treated.
The ride was “promptly secured and shut down,” the city said. It will be working closely with the vendor to investigate the cause and ensure there are no future incidents.
“We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and visitors,” said Police Chief Tony Slowik. “Our priority is to thoroughly investigate this incident and take all necessary measures to maintain the highest safety standards.”
