Milton police officer sustains life-threatening injuries while trying to arrest suspect

MILTON, Wash — A Milton police officer sustained what are being called “serious life-threatening injuries” after he was dragged by a suspect’s vehicle while trying to make an arrest on Wednesday, June 19.

Officer Haney, a five-year veteran of the department, and another officer were trying to arrest a suspect for an outstanding drug warrant near the 400 block of Meridian Avenue East.
