Lane closures on southbound I-5 through Seattle this weekend

The closures will spread from Albro Road to mid-Boeing Field.

SEATTLE — There will be lane reductions on southbound Interstate 5 through Seattle beginning Friday evening and finishing early Monday morning, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). 

The road will be reduced to two lanes from Albro Place to mid-Boeing field beginning as early as 9 p.m. on June 7. The lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. on June 10. 

The objective of this weekend’s work is to replace concrete near the Military Road bridge. The project also includes overnight lane reductions during the workweek, during which crews complete additional work
