This week, Cozumel is set to welcome over 90,000 cruise passengers with the arrival of multiple ships. The island anticipates docking 33 luxury vessels at its piers throughout the week.
Passengers are expected in Cozumel from January 29 to February 3, considering the average capacity of 3,000 passengers per ship. The arrival of Caribbean cruise ships starts Monday, with four vessels scheduled to dock.
The Norwegian Escape, scheduled to arrive in Cozumel on Monday, can accommodate over 4,200 passengers, while the Seven Seas Grandeur, also arriving that day, has a capacity of just over 700.
Tuesday will see seven vessels, including the large Norwegian Breakaway with nearly 4,000 passengers.
